Floor Repair

The washing machine hose became dislodged and the homeowner thought they could save the floors themselves. Unfortunately, after a few days, the floors were warped and had to be removed. Had they contacted SERVPRO of North Morris County immediately, there was a chance the floors could have been saved. Unfortunately, it was too late.

When removing a floor, it is imprtant to try and not distrub as much of the surrounding structural materials as possible. Notice how the baseboard trim was still in tact.

After the proper removal, treatment and dry out, the new floors looked even better than the old!
