SERVPRO provides 24 hour emergency property damage restoration services for customers experiencing losses caused by water, fire/smoke, mold and many other type of specialty cleaning issues. We provide these services to both residential and commercial building clients in Northern New Jersey.
We are currently seeking a Production Technician candidate to provide cleaning and restoration services as part of our production team. This is a growth position. This person would work under the leadership of the Production Manager.
Candidates most desired:
- Direct industry experience with IICRC certification is most desired and/or
- Builder contracting experience (drywall, paint, etc) and/or
- Experience using power hand tools
- Comfort level with iPad use
Candidates must have a groomed professional appearance, positive attitude, excellent communication and organization skills. Although the majority of our production work is scheduled during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 PM), this position requires occasional overtime, weekend, holiday work and rotating after hours on call.
This is an hourly wage position. Starting pay rates offered for Technician level ranges from $12.50-$15.00 per hour dependent on your industry experience. Wage rates increase quickly dependent on candidate abilities and eagerness to become certified and improve their expertise in our industry.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good standing NJ State driver’s license

Primary Role: Perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO production guidelines. Communicate with the customer to make sure that all needs are met. Support crew chief and other production personnel as needed. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse and office areas as needed.
Results Expected: Production processes are performed according to guidelines and work orders. Communications to crew chief and customer are timely. Jobs are completed at or beyond customer expectations. Vehicles, equipment, and facilities remain clean, orderly, and working properly.
